This 8-way wideband splitter is used exclusively on DIRECTV SWM satellite dishes or SWM multiswitches to distribute the signal to receivers. The SPLIT8MRV features one port with a DC path for remotely feeding power back through the splitter up to the dish or multiswitch, making it convenient for indoor and outdoor use. This is the only 8-way satellite splitter authorized for DIRECTV’s whole-home service. Its green label indicates that it’s compatible with DIRECTV’s Whole Home DVR service, and DIRECTV-approved for Multi Room Viewing (MRV).
